If your Laptop or MacBook is slow to turn on or load up websites & applications, crashes during gaming or video playback, feels sluggish, gives error messages & / or goes to an infamous 'Blue Screen of Death' (BSoD), it might be time for a memory upgrade or replacement. In some instances, the amount of Random Access Memory (RAM) is sufficient, but the RAM 'stick' may have failed due to age, overheating or because of failing to make proper contact with the laptop's main board (motherboard) due to a damaged contact on the RAM 'stick'. In these cases, we recommend replacing the RAM. In other instances, the amount of memory in the laptop is not sufficient enough for the laptop's usage & it is struggling to perform task's under load. Most modern laptops can actually have their memory extended by fitting more Memory 'sticks' in capacities of 2GB, 4GB or 8GB, depending on the laptop's make, model and age. We use professional software tools such as MemTest86 & Windows Memory Diagnostic & visual inspection to diagnose & determine the fault (s) with the memory (RAM). Memory Upgrades & Replacements from £55. We offer a free diagnostics for all memory (RAM) replacements & upgrades; before we go ahead with any work we will open up the laptop to confirm the type & capacity of the existing memory installed & to confirm there are no other performance issues with the laptops hardware. All memory (RAM) replacements & upgrades include one month's warranty. Please note this warranty does not cover any form of accidental/user damage.
